What is XFF
XFF is short for X-Forwarded-For, which is a standard header that CDN and other proxy services usually support. The purpose of the XFF header is to pass the true IP address of a visitor upstream to the originating server – i.e. your web server.
Enable XFF on MaxCDN
It is trivial to enable XFF on MaxCDN. Just follow the below steps:
- Log into the MaxCDN dashboard.
- Go to Zones > Pull Zones > Manage > Settings.
- Check “XFF” option and click “update”.
